We had so much fun enjoying one of the last nice weekends of the Summer and Lil' was a good sport, albeit a confused one, watching me wave from the tops of rides.
In my ideal world, this blog would have already documented Lily's big arrival and the 12 months leading up to the big ONE. However, our days have been spent chasing Oliver at Grandma's house, playing peek-a-boo and eating our way through the best bakeries that Seattle has to offer. It is my hope to begin now and consistently offer our family and friends a peek into a day in the life of Lily James Olsen. Fasten your seat belts!

Lions and tigers and bears! Oh my!
Alright, maybe less of the exotic and more of the domesticated variety of beasts, but still, animals galore were seen at the Evergreen State Fair on Labor Day. The Olsen's took a little field trip (compliments of the other and better half of the Olver's, THANK YOU!) and explored America's finest; nausea inducing rides, 4-H and all the grease your body can cannot handle. And since Chris gets nauseous, I was cool and rode a few rides by myself-until a 12 year old kid took pity on me and sat by me. You cannot attend the fair and NOT partake in at least one ride!
